In contrast to the electric piston device, the pneumatic device is powered by compressed air via an air motor.
Therefore, this technology can also be used in explosion-proof areas. The material transport is made by a material piston. All material leading parts of those pumps are made out of stainless steel. Also these pumps are suitable for resins with high viscosity as well as for liquids and also lacquers and stains. Mineral grouts should only be used in very small quantities and only if the grain size is very small (micro cement). Opposite to electric driven diaphragm pumps the pneumatic motors stop as soon as the injection or spray gun is closed or the pre-adjusted pressure level is reached.
